EST. 2022

Where It All Began.

Serenity by KK began in 2022 with a simple love for creating fragrance for the home.

By November 2024, that idea had become a reality. From hand-pouring candles and developing limited editions to building the website, photographing every product and sharing the brand online, every part of SBK was created independently from the ground up.

It was ambitious. It was imperfect. And it taught us everything that came next.

The Pause That Changed Everything.

After a year of building, creating and learning, it became clear that something needed to change.

SBK had been built around creating more — more products, more collections, more stock — before taking the time to understand what people truly wanted from the brand.

So, instead of continuing simply because we had started, we stopped.

We stepped back, honoured what hadn't worked and asked a much more important question:

What should SBK really exist to give people?

And In The Pause, We Found The Answer.

Somewhere between building a business, working a job, maintaining relationships and keeping up with everyday life, something became impossible to ignore.

Life is busy.

The days fill themselves. The weeks disappear. And taking a moment entirely for yourself can somehow become the easiest thing to postpone.

What SBK needed wasn't simply another product.

It needed a purpose.

A reminder to slow down. To create atmosphere. To turn an ordinary evening into something intentional.

And from that idea, The SBK Ritual was born.

SBK, Reimagined.

The SBK you see today has been rebuilt with everything the first chapter taught us.

Instead of creating endless collections, The SBK Ritual centres around one carefully curated fragrance chapter each month.

Instead of producing before understanding demand, we're building slowly and intentionally — listening, refining and perfecting each detail before it reaches your home.

From fragrance and packaging to the experience of opening each chapter, every element has been considered with one purpose:

to make slowing down feel like something worth looking forward to.
